Salman Khan's father Salim Khan undergoes operation

Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, father of superstar Salman Khan reported to have been hospitalised today, at Lilavati Hospital, Bandra, where he had undergone hernia operation.

According to a family source, there is nothing to worry and Salim Khan is expected to get discharged either Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning. The entire Khan family, including Salman was at the hospital.

Salim Khan, along with writers Salim-Javed, has been part of iconic films like 'Sholay', 'Zanjeer', 'Deewar' and 'Trishul' to name a few.
