Samantha and Vishal have been paired up for the first time in debutant director P.S.Mithran's 'Irumbuthirai'.

Latest update about the film is that Robo Shankar is playing an important role in the film and the script carries a lot of scope for his comic sequences. It is also said that Samantha will have an important role to play in the comic sequences with Robo Shankar for the first time and the audience will get to see the comical best of the top league heroine.

'Irumbuthirai' is being produced by Vishal Film Factory banner with Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music director. George Williams is the cinematographer of this film. which has Action King Arjun as the lead villain.
