Actress Samantha had inaugurated a charitable trust, that helps the needy, preferably women and children. It was an immunity disorder that left her bed ridden, after recovering from which, the actress felt inspired, as a result of which, she has included the ones that need medical help to the list of need. Speaking on this, Samantha said "When I was ill, absolute strangers took care of me and helped me recover soon.

I would like to pay that back. I joined hands with doctors Manjula, Pamela and Sirish to form a charitable organization. Now I would like to take it further and reach out to many more people. For the want of funds, we have been discussing with like minded people. It was then that we came up with the idea of auctioning my personal belongings like designer clothes, accessories, etc. I am looking forward to active participation from many more, in support of the needy." The auction is likely to begin in a about a month and half from now. Samantha is positive of roping in her film fraternity colleagues into offering a helping hand.
