Ilayathalapathy Vijay is busy shooting for director Nesan's police story 'Jilla', with Kajal Aggarwal. It was popularly buzzed that the actor will be doing a project with AR Murugadoss next. While there was speculation that Samantha might be doing the role of lead lady in the film, it has now been confirmed that the beautiful heroine will indeed be pairing up with Vijay for the first time, in this project. The technical crew has been confirmed with George C Williams of 'Raja Rani' fame on camera and Anirudh on music.

However, with the earlier troubles that ARM had to face in the case of 'Thupakki', the director has decided not to reveal the name of the project, until close to its release. It is worth mentioning that director Vishnuvardhan employed a similar tactic in the case of 'Arrambam'. All said and done, the Vijay-ARM project is likely to go on the floors from January 2014.
