A lot has been said and written about Samantha of late, as the gorgeous actress opted out of two big films, Mani RatnamÂs ÂKadal and ShankarÂs I, two directors even established heroines dream of working with.
The actress finally clears the air on this front:
ÂI didnÂt shoot even a single day for Kadal to walk out of it! We were supposed to shoot in Andamans but I was down with an immunity disorder that affected my skin and brought everything to a standstill. My June, July dates were for Kadal following which I planned to finish my Telugu films thus I couldnÂt postpone the film. Mani Ratnam was really kind to understand my situationÂ.
ÂDue to the same I couldnÂt join ShankarÂs film either. I couldnÂt help it. And thereÂs no iota of truth in me being launched by Prabhu Deva in his Bollywood filmÂ, she further adds.
The actress is currently basking on the success of Naan Ee (Eega) thatÂs seeing a good run in Tamil & Telugu.
