It's known that Samantha, responding to a call given by Telangana Minister KTR for one and all to promote the cause of handloom weaving, has offered to become the Handloom ambassador of TSCO. Recently, she even asked a handloom activist to give his insights on how wages of workers can be ameliorated.
Latest, she has made field tours of Dubbak and Pochampalli villages to understand the actual issues faced by handloom weavers. She has got appreciation from KTR himself for doing so. "Good start, Samantha. Understanding the nuances and real issues faced by Handloom weavers with your field tours," the Minister has said.
