It seems this is the season of actors getting injured on the sets of the films they are part of. After Shruti Hassan (Â7am ArivuÂ), STR (ÂVaanamÂ) and Prithvi (ÂPadhinettam KudiÂ), the latest is Sandhya.
The ÂKaadhal actress sustained an injury while shooting for a Ârisky action scene for her forthcoming Malayalam venture ÂThree KingsÂ, which has Indrajith of ÂSarvam fame in a crucial role.
According to sources, the accident took place at the Athirapally waterfalls near Chalakudy, when the motorbike Sandhya and her costar were traveling suddenly skidded as the ground was slippery.
As the bike fell down on Sandhya, she suffered injuries. She also suffered a minor burn as the two wheelerÂs silencer hit her legs. She was immediately rushed to a hospital where doctors advised to be on rest for few days. ÂI will join the shoot very soon, she says.
