Sandhya had made a mark for herself as an actress who can do varied roles. Since her maiden venture Kadhal, Sandhya has been picking her roles with care and has been part of successful films like Dishoom, Vallavan and Annavaram (Telugu).

Currently busy working in movies including Thoondil, Manjal Veyyil and Kannmoochi Yenada, Sandhya, is trying her luck at playback singing.

The young actress has recorded a song in her voice for Manjal Veyyil. Composed by Bharadwaj, the song is penned by Pa Vijay. The song was recently recorded and Bharadwaj was highly impressed with Sandhya's voice.

An elated Sandhya says, “I always wanted to sing a song. Thanks to Bharadwaj, my dream has become a reality. I am confident that the song would make it big among the music-buffs.”
