After entering the coveted Time Magazine's 10 Greatest Movies of the Millennium list, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Devdas’ is now going to release in a 3D version to commemorate its 10 glorious years of cinema.

Confirming the news says the director, “This is the tenth year of Devdas and, somehow, the film hasn’t lost its sheen. We’re now going to do a 3D version of the film to commemorate these ten years”.

Surpassing the Oscar winning French film 'The Artist' and Luhrmann’s musical 'Moulin Rouge', Bhansali’s adaptation of the 1917 Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay novel 'Devdas' earned the number 8 slot on Time Magazine's 10 Greatest Movies of the Millennium list.

Sunil Lulla, who is part of the film corporation that is working on the 3-D version, says, "The film completes a decade this year. And to commemorate its 10th year, we will release a 3-D version of this Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay classic.'

With the release of his forthcoming production ‘Rowdy Rathore’ around the corner, the director-producer soon readies for his ambitious next tentatively titled ‘Ram Leela’ starring Kareena Kapoor- Ranveer Singh.
