Santhanam has come a long way from ruling the comedy world turning into a lead actor. For the upcoming Dhilukku Dhuttu he is seen sporting a super dude avatar. With a neatly trimmed beard and a geeky glass and a rather toned down physique looks like he is ready to come out with all guns. The movie Dhilukku Dhuttu is said to be falling comedy-horror genre.

The film is directed by Lollu Sabha Ram bala, so hardcore comedy is surely down the lane. Santhanam will be seen romancing Shanaya a Mumbai based model, also present in the movie is Saurabh Shukla from Bollywood who was last seen in Anniyan.

The director also said that for the movie, Santhanam will be doing a Mass number which will have more than 100 dancers and 400 junior artists for the song sequences and is choreographed by Ashok who is famous for choreographing super hit Vijay flicks. The song is crooned by Sirgazhi Sivachidambaram under Thaman`s composition, Santhanam also is training rigorously to get the dance movements right. Looks like a solid number in the making
