Santhanam is not a happy man at least in the recent days. His Comedy in the recently released Azhagu Raja did not impress even his fans. Adding to this, a dialogue he spoke in the trailer of Endrendrum Punnagai where eh stars with Jeeva has been received with ire by a few sections of the society for obscenity.

However the actor pins his hopes on the remake of Maryada Ramana where the comedian dons the hero role. It is said that the actor is very consuous to avoid double meaning dialogues in the film. To regain the top slot Santhanam is also working really hard in the script along with the Director and wants the film to provide rollicking fun.

Hope the Santhanam returns with a bang this time
