Santhanam symbolically declares with his new film`s title Inimey Ippadithaan` that he is going to play only lead roles and not the sidekick that he is famous for. To drive home his point the ace comedian has opted out of Thala 56` and Singam 3`. Santhanam is also not part of the next few films of his close friend and super hit costar Udhayanidhi fuelling rumors that the two of them have parted ways.

To put all rumors to rest Udhayanidhi participated in the audio launch of Santhanam`s Handmade Film`s Inimey Ippadithaan` and as proof that their friendship is intact will release the laugh riot under his banner Red Giant Movies. Inimey Ippadithaan` has Ashna Zaveri and Akila Kishore as Santhanam`s pair and is directed by Muruganand.
