The theatre tucked under 'Narthaki' theatre in Santosh theatre complex is ready with new seats, ambience, sound, screening facility. All 303 seats have been changed the flooring and walls were given new look with AC and fans fitted to meet the two classes of seats.
Iliyas says the ticket price has been marginally raised. It is Rs.70 and Rs.60 for back and front seats from 'Umesh' Kannada cinema.
Sprucing up of Sapna theatre has also set aside the rumor that the Santosh complex where - Santosh, Narthaki and Sapna theatres are situated would be demolished in 2014.
The urgent facelift is needed in similar way for Menaka theatre that has very horrible seats. Menaka theatre is also on KG Road very close Adigas Hotel opposite Bhumika theatre.
