The Malayalee actress Saranya Mohan who made it big in Tamil will don a notable role in a new Tamil movie. She will be act as the sister of Ilaya Thalapathi Vijay in the new movie titled ÂVelayudhamÂ.
Saranya hit the jackpot with the small film, 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu' which went to become an upset hit, last year. After the movie, Saranya had bagged some good roles, but not anything as big as this one. She had been recently into Mollywood for the Viji Thampy movie ÂChemistry which didn't click with the masses. Saranya is also making her mark in Telugu. She is acting in the Telugu remake of ÂVennila Kabadi Kuzhu and had acted in a couple of movies like ÂVillage Lo VinayakuduÂ.
'Velayudham' is expected to start its shoot soon, will be directed by ÂJayam Raja.
