The challenging star Darshan out from problems ready to accept new challenges disclosed that the budget of 'Sarathi' was roughly Rs.50 lakhs more than his usual budget films. Darshan in new looks after his return from Thirumala taking blessings from Lord Venkateshwara looked circumspect to clear the doubts on 'Sarathi'.

Whenever new producers come to me I tell them think seriously. Once they indulge in making a movie with me it becomes more responsible for me as I have certain principles not to leave my films in cold storage. There was difficulty for KCN Chandrasekhar but when his brother in law took over 'Sarathi' there were doubts. The film got delayed and people started talking I and my brother Dinakar as director brought the curtains down for 'Sarathi'. All such rumors are wrong says Darshan.

I have advised the producer not to give up areas like Mysore. It has collected Rs.4 crores overall in 50 days. For 'Chingari' Rs.70 lakhs was earlier demand and now it is asked for Rs.4 cores answers everything pointed Darshan.

I know about my brother. He is workaholic. For Jothe Jotheyali he gave the budget of Rs.1 crore when he ran around for six months in Gandhinagar. Finally I have suggested for home banner and budget went up to Rs.1.75 crores. When we made 'Navagraha' it was under our control. When we thought of 'Sarathi' I have not taken only 50 percent of my remuneration from KCN Chandrasekhar because my earlier film with him 'Bhupathy' did not fare well.

I am happy today for ‘Sarathi’ results. At least six theatres have come forward to hold the 50 days functions. I am attending it.
