Sarath Kumar is a confident even in the worst of times. So his hopes will be doubly high when his film is expected to do well and the feed-back on his to-be released Khaki is very good.

'I am awaiting the release of Chanakya. It is an action entertainer. I think it will satisfy the fans looking for wholesome entertainment', says Sarath Kumar.

The movie is directed by Venkatesh and produced by Vishwas Sundar. Namitha plays Sarath's ladylove in the movie.

Speaking about the film, Sarath says, 'I shaved my head for playing the lead role in the films not because of any fantasy but because the script demanded it. Even when I and Venkatesh were doing Hey, he narrated the story to me, which impressed me then itself'.

Sarath has also sung a number in the movie. He says, 'I was not keen on singing. It was music director Srikanth Deva who was insisted me to sing. It is an earthy folk number and interestingly, I completed the recording without taking more takes'.

A good entertainer for my fans would be Chanakya, says SarathKumar.
