Actor Sasikumar is gearing up for the release of 'Tharai Thappattai' in which he has acted in the lead role under the direction of National award winning director Bala. THe film is all set to release on January 14, 2015 as a Pongal festival treat.

Now we have an interesting news about Sasikumar's next film. Sasikumar started acting in 'Vetrivel' directed by debutante Vasanthamani. The shooting of this film which commenced immediately after the shooting of 'Tharai Thappattai' was wrapped up has been completed now.

Sasikumar has confirmed this news on his Twitter page and thanked all who have worked with him in the film.

'Vetrivel' stars Sasikumar and Mia George in lead roles while Prabhu., Samuthirakani, Thambi Ramiah play important supporting roles. D.Imman has done the musical score for the film produced by Ravichandran under his Trident Arts banner.
