Actor Sasikumar's second release in 2016 will be 'Vetrivel' directed by debutant Vasanthamani. The film has recently acquired the clean U certificate from the Censor board officials and not it has got the release.,

It has been officially confirmed that 'Vvetrivel' will be hitting the theaters on April 29, 2016. Lyca Productions who have acquired the release rights from the producer will be releasing the film.

'Vetrivel' stars Sasikumar and Miya George in lead roles while the supporting cast includes Prabhu, Samuthirakani and Thambi Ramiah. D. Imman has rendered the musical score and S.R. Kathir has handled the camera.

The film has been shot in and around Tanjore and Pudukkottai. The trailer of the film released yesterday proves that Sasikumar is back to his home turf as a kind and a bold rural youngster.
