It was announced earlier that actor Sasikumar's next film 'Vetrivel' will be hitting the screens on April 29. Now the team has advanced the release by a week.

'Vetrivel' will be hitting the screens on April 22, 2016 along with G.V.Prakashkumar's long delayed film 'Pencil'.

The latest official posters of the film confirm that the film will release on April 22.

'Vetrivel' stars Sasikumar and Miya George in lead roles. The supporting cast includes Prabhu, Samuthirakani and Thambi Ramiah. D.Imman has rendered the musical score and S.R. Kathir has handled the camera.

The film has been directed by debutant Vasanthamani and produced by Ravindran of Trident Arts. Lyca Productions has acquired the rights of the film and they are releasing it all over the world.
