Sasikumar has moved on to his next film to be produced by Ravichandran under the Trident Arts banner and the film will be directed by debutante Vasantha Mani.

The film has been titled as Vetrivel` and it has been launched with a formal Pooja yesterday in Tanjore and the shooting has also begun after the pooja. Actor Prabhu and Thambi Ramiah will be adding attraction to the supporting cast of the flick while a newbie has been zeroed in to play the love interest of Sasikumar in this film.

Music will be scored by D.Imman and he is said to have already given the tunes for all the songs in the film. Cinematography will be handled by S.K.Kathir.
