This Pongal, Sasikumar will be in his hometown Madurai, celebrating the four-day festival with his family members and friends. Remember Madurai is known for celebrating the harvest festival in a big way.

“For the past three years, I was unable to be with my family and friends for Pongal due to professional commitments. But this year I have decided to be with them,” says the actor-director-producer.

Excited about the celebrations, he says, “Pongal is one of the very important festivals there. We used to celebrate it in a real big way, having whale of time with loved ones. I am thrilled to pack my bags.”

After coming back to Chennai post Pongal, Sasikumar will get busy with ‘Poraali’, a film to be directed by Samuthirakani. Besides playing the lead role, Sasi will also produce the movie, which is set in the backdrop of the capital city of Tamil Nadu.
