Sasikumar takes his National award to Ilaiyaraja

Actor, Director and Producer Sasikumar’s latest Production venture ‘Thalaimuraigal’ which also happened to be the last directorial venture of veteran filmmaker Balumahendra has won the National award for Best film on National integration.

Sasikumar takes his National award to Ilaiyaraja

To thank media friends for publicizing the film in various forms, Sasikumar has arranged a special press meet this evening (May 6) in a popular studio in Chennai. Prior to that Sasikumar has taken the National award, he received as the Producer of ‘Thalaimuraigal’ to the studio of the Maestro Ilaiyaraja and got the veteran’s blessings. Ilaiyaraja was the music director of ‘Thalaimuraigal.’

The award was distributed in Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on 3rd of May, 2014.
