Sathi Leelavathi is a film dubbed from Tamil. Starring Srinivas and Anjali, the film is directed by Prabhakaran. Ram Prasad, a journo-turned-producer is producing the Telugu version. Srikanth Deva is the music director. Its audio was released yesterday (July 2).

Speaking at the event, B Jaya said, "Prabhakaran has made six films in Tamil, out of which two won awards. This film too was a big hit in Tamil. I am very happy for Ram Prasad, a fellow from the journalist fraternity."

Suresh Kondeti said, "Just like me, who was inspired to become a producer due my passion for cinema, Ram Prasad too has become one with the desire to produce good cinema. I am also happy for Bhagya Sri, a journalist, who has penned three songs. All the songs have come out very well. I wish that Anjali will score a hit after Shopping Mall and Journey."

Musician Chakri has sung a number in the film, so also RP Patnaik, who has sung another song.

Prabhakaran opined that it was only the Telugu film industry that accords highest respect for films. He hoped that audience here will lap up his film.

Hero Srinivas has done some Tamil cinema, but Sathi Leelavathi is his first outing in Telugu. "This film has a message. Everyone will like the theme."

Ram Prasad said that the film was about the never-changing status of women in the society.
