Director Vasanth is giving final touches to his much-awaited film Sathumpodaathay.

Starring Prithviraj and Padmapriya in lead roles, the movie has musical score by Yuvanshankar Raja.

Nitin Sathya, who played a prominent role in Chennai 600028, has a major role to play in the movie.

Vasanth says, “The movie revolves around three persons (Prithiviraj, Padmapriya and Nithin Sathya)”.

“Suhasini and Nasser have a major part to play in the film”, he adds.

Denying that it is a love triangle, Vasanth, says,"I have narrated a Shakespearean tale in a Hitchcock way. The theme is contemporary and relevant. Everybody has a role to play and all the actors have done an excellent job”, he said.

Prithiviraj is thrilling about the movie's prospects at the box office. “The story is good and also the script. There is no reason why the film should not be a box-office hit,” he said.

Padmapriya said that she accepted the film only after she was convinced about the scope of her character.
