Three decades ago filmmaker S A Chandrasekhar came out with a movie that spoke against loopholes in the judicial system.

It has now been presented in a new form with changes to suit the contemporary audience, by debutant director Sneha Britto.

The film stars newcomer Thaman Kumar and Bindu Madhavi in lead roles, while Reemma Sen and Piaa Bajpai amongst others play supporting roles.

The crux of the original has been retained and Sneha Britto has tried to make few changes in it to ensure that it doesn't look outdated.

The movie unfolds with Vijay (Thaman) murdering a couple of influential men in Chennai. They were history-sheeters and escaped the punishment for there was no evidence to any crime that they had committed.

Vijay's sister Kausalya Raman (Reemma Sen) is a joint commissioner of police, who investigates the murder. She has a suspicion on her brother. But he denies and asks for proof.

Meanwhile, it is unveiled that Vijay along with friends which includes Bindhu Madhavi has a mission to be accomplished.

Thaman is handsome and dances well. Piaa Bajpai steals the show with his cute expressions. But sadly her character meets a tragic end.

The roles of Reemma Sen and Bindhu Madhavi could have been etched out properly. Also there are many loose ends and events unfold quite quick sans logic towards the end.

S A Chandrasekhar's cameo deserve a special mention. Sneha should be given a pat for giving a sheen on screen. The songs are rich and glossy.

Vijay Antony's music is peppy and typical tunes from him are there in 'Sattam Oru Iruttarai'.

All said, a good attempt by young Sneha Britto who still has a long way to go.
