Titled Mahanati in Telugu and Nadigaiyar Thilagam in Tamil, the biopic on Savithri is all set to start rolling next month. In the upcoming bi-lingual movie, Mollywood's sensation Dulquer Salmaan will be playing the role of the legendary Tamil actor Gemini Ganesan along with Keerthy Suresh playing the title role.

In a recent interview to a popular newspaper, the movie's director Nag Ashwin revealed that a Malayalam version of the movie is likely to be made. However, the decision on the Malayalam version would only be taken later, says the director. He also added that right now, the Telugu and Tamil versions of the film are confirmed.
