Speed is a synonym with Selva. The filmmaker, who is known for completing movies on fast track, had the release of ‘Naan Avan Illai-II’ just a month ago. With two films in hand now (‘Muriyadi’ and ‘Nootrukku Nooru’), he is gearing up for another project too.

“The film I am planning would have five heroes and five heroines, all new faces. The reason behind choosing freshers is- established actors here are not ready to work together. Hence I am setting a trend with newcomers,” he says.

On ‘Muriyadi’, he says, “Produced by Kavithalaya, the plot of the film will revolve around Ganesh Venkatraman, Sathyaraj and Remya. It is about a trio coming across anti-social elements.”

Adding more, he says, “How the three thwart the attempts of ultras to unleash terror in the country is what Muriyadi all about. The film will put the audience on the edge of their seats.”

Claiming that there is nothing wrong in remaking yesteryear hits, the director says, “We are giving an opportunity to the younger generation to watch classics by making old movies in current trend.”
