Popular television actress Yuvarani is noted for playing Rajini's sister in 'Baasha' and the love interest of Thalapathy Vijay in Captain Vijayakanth's 'Sendhoorapandi'. She has also played an important role in all the 'Singam' films with Suriya.

In a recent interview Yuvarani has revealed that Thalapathy Vijay is the only person who fondly addresses her as Yuva and their friendship which started in the year 1993 continues for twenty five years now. She said that she never misses to call and wish him on his birthdays and he has remained the same down to earth person even after reaching such dizzying heights.
