Seniors
After the big debutante hit 'Pokkiriraja'' featuring Mammootty and Prithviraj, young director Vysakh will be retuning to big screen with a movie titled as 'Seniors'. Planned as a fun film with its share of thrills and suspense, 'Seniors' have already completed its shoots. Again a multistarrer, the movie will have Jayaram, kunchakko Boban, manoj K Jayan and Biju menon in the title roles while Padmapriya and Ananya comes up as the heroines.
The movie will have the foursome as Pappu, Rex, Munna and Idikkula. They were great friends when they were studying in the famous Maharajas college for their degree, fourteen years ago.
Now they are in different pastures of life after their college days, doing different jobs and staying in various cities. It all started with a mail that accidentally came to Pappu. Following the directives of the message, they gets in touch with each other and plans to start a second life again as college students.
Back again to the same college as P G students, they are not like when they were in their degree days. Now they have adequate maturity and real life experiences than the rest of the fellow students. One of their old batch mate and friend Indulekha is now in the same college working as their lecturer.
When they entered the campus for a pressure free life, it was Jeny with whom they first befriended. She was the campus beauty, a bubbly girl who was always into anything and everything. And there starts the fun, and frolic art festival, dance and strikes with the seniors. But very few in the campus, including their friends and foes never realised that the four seniors were in the campus for more reasons than they could ever think off.
Ananya will be Jenny while Padmpriya comes up as Indulekha in the movie which will also have Siddhique, Vijayaraghavan, Sreejith Ravi, Suraj Venjaaramoodu, Madhupal, Saiju, Dr,Roney, Jyothirmayi, Lekshmyrpriya, Hima and Radha Varma in other important roles. Sachi-Sethu is the scriptwriters of 'Seniors'while Shaji does the camerawork. The music department of the movie is by Jassie gift, Alphonse and Alex Paul while Gopi Sundar does the rerecording. Mahesh Narayanan is in the charge of the editing while Joseph Nellikal is the art director.
Produced by Vyshakha Rajan in the banner of Vysakha Cinema, the movie will be presented to theatres by Vysakha release, as a summer release.
