Venkatesh's Shadow is not just about sleek action and mafia. It also sees Venky in a mood for jollification. The situation is Ganesh Chaturthi in the film. A song on Venky and other dancers was recently shot in Ramoji Film City in the backdrop of a 20 ft Ganesh idol.

Set to clash with Baadshah on Jan 11, 2013, the film is being directed by Meher Ramesh. Tapsee Pannu, Srikanth and Madhurima are part of the cast.

The film was shot in Hyderabad and Malaysia in the past. This expensive film produced by Paruchuri Kireeti has been written by Gopi Mohan and Kona Venkat. Music is by SS Thaman.
