Shafi has got one more reason to celebrate other than the stupendous success of his new film 'Chocolate’.

According to latest reports, he has been selected to direct the new film starring Mohanlal which is to be shot entirely in United States. The film will also be scripted by Rafi -Mecartin after their recent hit with Lal 'Hello'. The movie will be produced by Thara Arts and Aashirvaad Cinemas.

Shafi, who has got special abilities to create hits, had been in the company of big hits for a long time. His recent two films with Mammootty- the other superstar of Malayalam, 'Maayavi' and 'Thommanum Makkalum' were the biggest hits of his career.

Now that, he is going to associate with the biggest star of Malayalam, every filmgoer will be necessarily expecting another big hit from the young director.
