While shooting for his ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’ in the locales of Mysore, Shahid Kapoor realised that he is just some kilometres away where Bollywood’s most iconic film ‘Sholay’ was also shot was.

Shahid Kapoor, who is shooting currently near Mysore for the upcoming film of Rajkumar Santoshi, felt really excited when he came to know that they are shooting in close quarters of Ramgarh, the location where the blockbuster Amitabh Bachchan-Dharmendra starrer was shot.

Our sources revealed that, Shahid after pack up was on his way to Ramgarh, which lies 4 hours away from his film’s shooting location, to have a glimpse of the very famous shooting spot.

Shahid visited the location and was really happy to make a trip happen. This explains us Shahid’s curiosity to know more about our films of Bollywood.

It took him 8 hours to visit Ramgarh and come back to be present for his next shot. Shahid Kapoor is a movie buff and loves to explore things in his way. This just proves that.

‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’ has ‘Barfi’ Illean D Cruz co-starring with Shahid. The film, which begun its shooting couple of months back, is set to release sometime in next year.
