Shakthi, who made a mark with films such as 'Thottal Poo Malarum' and 'Ninaithale Inikkum', was not seen in action for some time now.

But things are no more the same, as the young actor is back with a film titled ‘Padam Pesum'. It is directed by Raghava, who earlier made the talked about movie 'By Two'.

Poorna of 'Muniyandi Vilangial Moondramandu' and 'Vithagan' fame is the lead actress of the movie, which is a thriller. "It portrays Shakthi in a character with grey shades," the director says.

"At the same time, there are a lot of positive aspects too," he says and adds: "At a very young age, Shakthi has effectively handled a complex role."
