'Shamantakamani', which opened to positive talk on July 14th, raked in fair amount of moolah on first day.

Starring Sudheer Babu, Aadhi, Nara Rohith, Sundeep Kishan and Rajendra Prasad, the crime comedy earned a share of Rs. 1.45 Cr as of the end of Friday. This pertains only to the Telugu States. Nizam contributed more than Rs. 50 lakhs. In the US, the film earned USD 48,000 on Thursday's Premieres and on Friday.

Since the entertainer has no competition till July 21st and the talk is also encouraging, it can be expected to pick up today and tomorrow.
