Shamili is still remembered as baby Anjali for her great role as a child artist more than a decade ago. She is the sister of popular actress Shalini, who also has performed as a child artist, and the sister-in-law of Tamil star Ajith. Shamili made her debut as a heroine in 'Oy' recently.
She was recently sharing her thoughts and said that she wants to prove her own identity. She seems to be concerned about the repeated comparison between her and Shalini.
She added that she is not interested in joining the rat race and wants to think twice before taking up any role. For now, this new heroine is also said to be keen on pursuing her studies.
