Here’s the first look of director Dibakar Banerjee’s forthcoming political thriller ‘Shanghai’…

Starring Abhay Deol and Emraan Hashmi in lead, the film is bannered under PVR Pictures and slated to release on 8th June 2012. The two actors, who are usually known for their distinct style, are looking quite different in this still here.

In the film, Abhay plays a south Indian character, Mr. Krishnan, while Emraan a gritty street-smart wheel dealer Jogi Parmar. The story deals with land grabbing and revolves around politicians’ lives.

‘Shanghai’ also features Kalki Koechlin, Farooq Sheikh and Bengali talent house Prosenjit.
