Shooting of 'Shankar Dada Zindabad' directed by Prabhudeva and produced by Gemini Kiran and Ravishankar on the banner of Gemini Film Circuits with Padma Bhushan, Mega Star, Dr Chiranjeevi in the lead is progressing well.

After a long wait and a hectic search, the producers and director zeroed in on Karishma Kotak, who modelled for Kingfisher in 2006, as heroine for the film.

Recently some romantic scenes between the hero and heroine, and the scenes where hero falling in love with the heroine were shot in Hyderabad. The film is the remake of a successful Bollywood film 'Lage Raho Munnabhai'. The shooting of the film was being done in Araku, Goa and other such other places.

Devisri Prasad is providing tunes for the movie. Paruchuri Brothers are scripting dialogues for the film.

It is learnt that the variety Telugu maxims in English would again rule the roost in this film. Surprisingly, Prabhudeva is choreographing dances to Chiranjeevi after a long gap, after 'Gharana Mogudu'.

The audiences have high expectations on the dances and songs' choreography in the film.

After completing all the formalities the film is expected to hit the screen by the end of July.
