It seems that there is no stopping for Shankar from receiving awards and accolades for his magnum opus ‘Endhiran’, the Superstar Rajinikanth starrer, which hit the screens a couple of months ago.

Everyone knows that the film broke all collection records besides topping the charts in many international listings. And now, Shankar, the man behind the movie, has been selected as the Indian of the Year.

Popular television network CNN-IBN will honour Shankar with this award. We learn that the director will go to New Delhi on December 22 to receive the coveted honour at a grand function.
