Shanthini Theva, who made her debut in ‘Naadodigal’, directed by Samuthirakani and produced by Sasikumar, is playing the heroine in 'Madhil Mel Poonai'.

The movie stars Vijay Vasanth, son of Congress MLA H Vasanth Kumar in the lead. Interestingly, both had shared the screen space together in 'Naadodigal'.

Says the actress: "I am in no hurry to accept offers. Several stories came my way after ‘Naadodigal’. But I was waiting for the right one. ‘Madhil Mel Poonai’ is different and I play a bubbly young girl".

Shanthini also reveals she is committed to do two more movies and details would be known soon.
