Sharan joined hunger strike

Highly popular actor Sharan hailing from northern Karnataka region has shown right respect to his region in taking part in hunger strike on the Kalasa Banduri water project at Naragund taluk. He took part in the Deed` Namaskara to express protest.

At Belagavi district Bailahongala taluk the indefinite hunger strike also Sharan took part on Tuesday. Sharan addressed the mammoth crowd that is at the 65th day of hunger strike. We are asking our share of water for the people of this region. The water instead of reaching the sea is given to the farmers would help in some relief he felt.

After saluting Rani Channamma statue Sharan addressed on the problems of the farmers. The century plus films actor Sharan also hails from the northern Karnataka region. Recently on the Kalas Banduri` the Kannada film industry supported state interest on water sharing in Mahadayi river project.
