Handsome hero Diganth second in a row - last week it was 'Minchagi Nee Baralu', this week it is 'Sharp Shooter' falls short of entertainment.
The debutant director Ghouse Peer from lyricist department has not given a convincing narration and the seriousness of the film is more. The night blind disability hero and night phobia heroine with irritating comedy from Mithra and Chikkanna, lack of good melody in songs makes it laborious watch. Ghouse Peer has not shown common sense of showing how the rare ability of 'Sharp Shooter' has come to protagonist. In addition to it the usual story of revenge is part of the film. A criminal lawyer Nandini (Sangeetha Chauhan) initially hates JK (Diganth) but very soon she falls in love with him. JK on knowing the reason for night phobia for Nandini has not even made an attempt to take revenge. Already one wicket is down from tormentors of Nandini.
Nandini mistake it. She thanks JK for such a 'Sharp Shoot'. Now JK is framed in the shout out. Nandini uses the 'Night Blind' disability to bail JK out. When she is aware that she is fought on real problem obviously she is shocked. Now the stage is set in the evening time to finish off JK. The main tormentor knows this problem and kidnap Nandini to a far off place. How JK uses his brain and muscle power is the end part of the film. Diganth has some good action to perform. He looks sweet as ever, the romantic moments are very absorbing. The song with Aindrita Ray is attractive. Sangeetha Chauhan impressive in the role of Nandini and she has a long way to go in the career. Chikkanna is laughing materials for his dialogues.
Sudharani is an apt choice for mother role. The strength of Achyuth Kumar is limited, veteran actress Lakshmi also gives some relief. Elle Iddaru Alle Haajaru...is top of other songs in the film from music director Shiva Santosh, Karunakar as cameraman maintained the brightness requires for eyes. 'Sharp Shooter' is an average flick.
