The guru is all set to make great strides in Bollywood with the same kind of success that came knocking at his door in Tollywood. His students or former associates Anish Kuruvilla and SaiKiran Adavi have left their teachers shade and have become independents.

Shekhar Kannula who was the mentor to the above mentioned two new directors will be trying to spread his golden touch into the Hindi speaking lands with the remake of the immensely successful flick 'Happy Days'.

The director who started off his career with the movie 'Dollar Dreams' followed up with films like 'Anand' and 'Godavari'. He will be presenting his debut Bollywood flick in association with Shekhar Kapoor.

Anish Kuruvilla is now creating his first film 'Avakai Biryani' and SaiKiran Adavi is also going to fly solo with 'Vinayakudu'. It is heard that both these films are having very unique story lines and the two cub directors are to reach great heights just like their guru Shekhar Kammula.

We sincerely hope that both of them will be able to do great justice to the title of Guruvunu Minchina Sishyulu, in the future.

Shekhar is already known as an established film maker with a great talent and his disciples are just starting out of their own. But it seems that the industry insiders are so sure of the cinematic knowledge imparted by Shekhar to his juniors that they have now itself decided Anish and Sai Kiran to become just like their master.
