'Shhuddhi' will star Salman Khan: Karan Johar confirms

Finally, the man himself behind the much talked project Shuddhi` has confirmed its hero. After watching musical chairs by A-list actors including Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh and even Aamir Khan for the lead role, some times ago wide speculations were that Salman Khan has bagged it. And now, the film`s director-producer took to Twitter not only to announce the lead hero but also about the release of Shhuddhi`. "SHHUDDHI will star SALMAN KHAN and will release Diwali 2016.....@shhuddhimovie."

Incidentally, KJo and Salman are coming together again post Kuch Kuch Hota Hai` in 1998, which was Karan`s debut film then.

Earlier it was also said that Kareena Kapoor-Khan will play opposite Salman in Shhuddhi`. If so, then we will be seeing this hot Jodi again after Bodyguard`.

Meanwhile we can enjoy Salman with his latest big screen vehicle 'Kick' which is releasing on 25th July 2014.
