Senior actress Shobana who is currently taking much of her time to her dance assignments will soon return to cinema directing one. The National award winner who had been cherishing this dream has made this public while interacting to media man at the Soorya festival at the capital city.
Shobana had been an integral part of Mollywood right form her days of debut in 1984. Thereafter the actress had been to almost 130 films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam sharing the screen with almost all leading actors of the South. Though her current interest is to direct a movie, Shobana will return to acting if the likes of eminent directors like Revathy will call he for a character.
Shobana adds that directing her dance shows has lessened her distance to screen direction. And if the plans of Shobhana will materialise soon, we are sure to see another promising lady director in MOllywood after Anjali Menon and Revathy.
