The photographs of Amitabh Bachchan walking through a long road as an old backpacker with flowing white hair looking tired and exhausted came up in the media sometime back.

These photos from the location of the film 'Shoebite' gave us expectations of a great realistic movie and to see Big B in a role that is completely different from all the characters he has done so far.

But disappointment in the form of a court order has killed the hope now.

Film maker Shoojit Sarkar was calling the shots of 'Shoebite'.

The film was being produced by UTV and the work was progressing well.

Percept Picture company went to the Delhi High court claiming that they are the real copyright holders of the movie.

They informed the court that Shoojit Sarkar was to make the film with Percept Picture Company and previously the project was named as 'Johnny Walker'.

That film never took off from the initial stages and then Shoojit approached UTV.

After UTV agreed to finance the film, the story was retained without any changes and the movie got a new name.

When this came to the attention of Percept, they took legal action alleging infringement of copyright by UTV.

The court gave a verdict in favour of Percept naming them the rightful owners of 'Johny Walker'.

Now only a mutual understanding between Percept Picture Company and UTV will help to bring the film to the cinema halls.

Let's hope for a positive outcome so that a good work of art will not get lost.
