Make way for Gabbar Singh and Jai and Veeru... The iconic film characters will come alive again... Thanks to Zee Classic, movie buffs can enjoy their favourite classic Bollywood films at their nearest PVR cinema house...

After the success of the first edition of ‘The Classic Cut’ Film Festival that was held in February this year, Zee Classic is back again to carry forward the promise of bringing the magic of the ‘Evergreen Age’ of Hindi Cinema to its audiences beyond the television screen.

In its second leg, ‘The Classic Cut’ Film Festival will re-release four of Indian Cinema’s iconic movies - ‘Sholay’, ‘Karz, Seeta aur Geeta and Deewar in PVR theatres in Mumbai and Delhi on 21 April and 28 April respectively.

Incidentally, Zee Classic is India's only Hindi movie channel with the largest library of classic films with over 300 exclusive titles from the 1940’s to the 1970’s.

As the first step of its larger endeavor of taking evergreen classics beyond television sets and giving today’s generation a holistic experience of the most significant period in the evolution of Indian Cinema, Zee Classic’s, ‘The Classic Cut’ is a film festival that pays tribute to the greatest films and icons of Indian Cinema.

Mr. Mohan Gopinath, Business Head, Hindi Movie Cluster, ZEEL, said on the occasion, "This is a rare opportunity for all the cinema aficionados to watch cult movies in theatres. The festival will begin in Mumbai and Delhi and will be taken to other towns subsequently."

This exclusive four-day affair will be a treat to all those movie-goers who were awestruck by Mr. Bachchan’s angry young man bearing in ‘Deewar’, enthralled by Gabbar’s villainy in ‘Sholay’, bewitched by Hema Malini’s charm in ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’, tickled by Dharamendra’s antics in ‘Sholay’ and ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’ and lured by Rishi Kapoor’s boyish charms in ‘Karz’.
