Shradda Das GalleryDirector Praveen Sattaru of 'Chandamama Kathalu' and 'Guntur Talkies' fame is set to cast Shraddha Das for a second time. In his next, which has Rajasekhar playing the lead, Shraddha Das will be seen in the role of a journalist.
The actress has been quoted as saying that when Sattaru first called her up, he told her to send him recorded videos of her speaking at length. Shraddha didn't want to lose the opportunity and so, even though she was not well, she recorded a long monologue. On watching it, Sattaru was convinced that she is the right one.
In the March release 'Guntur Talkies', Shraddha played a sleazy gangster character by name Revolver Rani. Since then, she has acted in 'Great Grand Masti' in Bollywood. 'Arya2', 'Mogudu' and 'Rey' are some of her earlier Telugu movies. She has also acted in Bengali and Kannada.
Pooja Kumar of 'Vishwaroopam' fame is the movie's heroine.
