Shraddha Kapoor rejects Akshay Kumar for Shahid Kapoor

Young actresses these days are very calculative, committed and know their trade very well. That also means, turning down a film with a superstar for sticking to their work schedule. We are referring to the ‘Aashiqui 2’ famed beauty Shraddha Kapoor, who recently opted out of Akshay Kumar’s much talked project, ‘Gabbar’ - an offer for which many A-list actresses were earlier vying for.

Talks are that Shraddha opted out of ‘Gabbar’ citing date issues. The actress is currently shooting for Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Haider’. While ‘Gabbar’ is expected to start shooting in early January 2014; apparently Shraddha’s dates of the film clashed with that of ‘Haider’. And so the actress had no other go than to refuse the movie with Khiladi.
On the other hand, Akshay said to had given bulk dates for ‘Gabbar’ but now with the space of his leading lady being empty, looks like the makers might face few delay.
Besides ‘Haider’, Shraddha is working on Mohit Suri’s ‘The Villain’, with Sidharth Malhotra in lead.
