Shriya, the actress on song after Sivaji, is going places now. She is currently awaiting the release of 'Azhagiya Tamil Magan' opposite Vijay.

Shriya has been cast opposite Vikram in 'Kanthaswamy'. The young actress, who is appearing for a song sequence opposite Vadivelu in 'Indiralohathil Na Azhagappan', is now bound to Hollywood.

The actress has been cast as heroine in an English film to be produced by Ashok Amritraj.

She plays an Indian woman in a movie titled 'The Other End of the Line’ opposite Hollywood actor Jeslie.

Speaking about her foray to Hollywood, Shriya says, "I met Ashok Amritraj during my journey in a flight. He narrated the story to me and urged me to act in the film. I readily agreed to be part of the venture. It is the dream of every actress to be part of Hollywood movies and for me the offer came very early in my career"

On his part, Ashok Amritraj said, "Initially I wanted to cast Priyanka Chopra in the lead role. Since she was busy I was searching for another heroine. I met Shriya and decided she is the best alternative".

Shooting for the movie would commence very soon.
