A source connected to an upcoming Telugu film starring Ram Charan revealed that the team has chosen Shruthi Haasan to play the leading female role in the film. They had been looking for an important personality to play the part and have selected Shruthi after a long search.

This film is to be an entertaining action film and is directed by Srinu Vaitla. The cast and crew hasn't been finalized yet and the final drafting of script is yet to be finished. Shruthi and Ram Charan have paired up before and their on screen chemistry is the main decision making factor in choosing Shruthi for this film, says sources.

Ram Charan is to be appearing in a new look for this film. Shruthi has been busy with her Tamil and Hindi shoots on the other hand and just finished the shoot for an item number in Aagdu, a Mahesh Babu film.
